Custodial

A custodial service is a service that stores a digital asset on your behalf for which you can send and receive transactions from it, yet cannot access the private keys.

This differs from a non-custodial service in which the service or client that stores the digital asset cannot access the keys, but provides a service from which users can send and receive transactions.
